The VJTF (or Very High Readiness Joint Task Force) is NATO’s spearhead force designed to react to a crisis situation at short notice.
The Land component is comprised of approximately 5,000 troops from 14 nations, made up of armour, infantry and artillery. These units exercised together recently near Sennelager in Germany, displaying their ability to respond quickly in the event of a crisis.
